What would you do if you had the pearl of the world? John Steinbeck was the author of The Pearl. The Pearl was a great book because of the characters Kino, Juana, and Coyotito. In the beginning of the book Coyotito was in a hanging box and a scorpion was crawling down the string and Kino could not get the scorpion fast enough and stung Coyotito. It was a tragedy story and everyone always wanted to know what was happening next. If the pearl would to be mine I would be the happiest person in the world and would sell it and get money.
To begin with late is use to show the characters in the book. In the beginning of the book the book described Kino that he had wavy black hair and a brown fore head. That he had a mustache and was wearing hat. The book all so described Juana’s looks. That she has black hair dark eyes wore a blue shawl and Braids tied with ribbons. The book described Coyotito that he was in a hanging box and he was wrapped in a blue shawl.
The doctor wouldn’t come because they where pore. So Kino went pearl fishing and he saw a really shiny thing in a clam so he went to go check and the clam shut its mouth. So he grabbed the clam and opened the clam and it was the pearl of the world. And everyone wanted the pearl. People would try to rob his house and a robber stabbed Kino. Then Juana took the pearl and was going to through the pearl the water. But Kino caught her and punched her and kicked her. The a person was going after the pearl and killed him. Then he walked back to his house and his house was on fire. So he lived at his brothers house for one day and he know that he would go to jail for killing the man so he left and saw the tracer that where after him so he tricked him and now Kino And Juana And Coyotito are in a cave. The trackers where at the bottom of the cave resting. Kino was dressed in all white so he had to take of his clothes because of the moon light. And put his knife on his back. So it wouldn’t cling on the rocks. He was going to kill the three men. He was right behind the man with the rifle. Coyotito cried and the men heard a coyote. So the man shot his rifle and Kino jumped and killed the man. And shot the two other men. When Kino met up with Juana Coyotito died.
In the end thing turned out ok for Kino and Juana. No one wants to rob them again because Kino threw the pearl in the water. And when he had the pearl everyone wanted the pearl. And Kino had very bad luck. If I had the pearl it would make me very happy and would sell the pearl for a lot of money.
