Authors Note: This is a piece that shows the author’s purpose of the two poems. It also reviews the mood and tone of the poem. Also it will explain the mood and town of the music compares and contracts.
To start my journey, both of these poems Big Yellow Taxi and Field Below are trying to teach us that we don’t know what we got till it’s gone. The mood in both of the song is sad and the mood in both of the poem is sympathetic. Both of the authors are talking about big cities. They are different because one is talking about they are cutting down trees and there putting up a parking lot. And the other one is talking about that she can’t see the field below.
